what the hell is this?

Yeah, before Jobs came back on the scene, Apple made a whole lot of mistakes. Newton anyone? (Not that those were a bad product, they just came out a little too early for their own good and weren't marketed well.) When he took the reins again, Apple came back on the scene hard with the iMac, proving that fruity colors will sell a machine where boring specs fail.

Steve Jobs is an excellent salesman -- that's what it comes down to.

Steve probably could have made the Newton and Pippen successful if he tried.

alright -- I guess I should get in mod-mode:

no more mac/pc comments. Only about the pippen and the stuff in the picture (white saturn etc)

anything else and I'll close the thread

yeah lol, in any case I'd never actually seen a picture of a pippen before that lol, though I had heard of them. I've heard that they had an actual vga port on the back of them.

they do have one 😎

i'd love it if some other console like the dc or xbox had one built in.

AntiPasta whats that about an SMC Card reader? whats an SMC card anyway?

you know it probably says all this shit on the page i got the pics from, but its all in japanese. anyone here read it? i'll try and find the site again if its worth while.

*cough*Amiga Workbench *cough* most stable O.S *cough*

SMC cards (Smarmedia) are those thin cards with gold contacts on one side. They're used in MP3 players, digital cameras, the GP32 and whatnot. Here's a pic:

I once heard the Saturn had a photo editing program for digital cameras, that was used in conjunction with said SMC reader cart. Kinda something like the Sega Picturemagic.
