To everyone who can afford to buy an X-arcade...do it! I purchased it with an DC adapter 3 months ago and it's just wonderful. Very recommended indeed!

P.S. They now have a smaller and cheaper 1p-joystick.

Hmm...I'm seriously considering getting one. The 2p one though cause it's a much better value than the 1p ones. Also, for the price(only $30), red octane has some really nice sticks though you'd also need to use a psx->dc adapter:

I hear this stick isn't so great with the 360 motion. And it cuts out with multiple button presses? Anyone verify this? I think I read that at shoryuken.com.

I can't find any problems making a full 360 or when bashing multiple buttons simultaneously....it's probably nag from people who can't afford it

Is the joystick a microswitch-based (clicky) one?

I'd say so.

I believe almost all (if not all) modern arcade joysticks use microswitches instead of leaf switches.
