Last I heard model 1 chips were nearly impossible to find and you couldn't use model 2 chips on 1s. Has any of that changed or are there work arounds?

I was tempted to grab a Master Gear thingamabob off ebay for the Game Gear and was wondering if it played SMS card games. From the images I've seen it only seems to have a slot for normal carts.

Anyone know of any Genesis games that actually are 6 button intolerant and require the use of the mode button? Supposedly the oldest games are but Altered Beast and other games at the time doesn't mind it at all.

I've had an SMS for about the last 2 years that I think had too much voltage introduced into it. Was wondering if anyone knew of a fuse/resistor fix similar to the one for the SegaCD. If not then I've got an interesting project to work on.

I've got 2 Genny Game Genies. Both have their LEDs power but the screen stays black. I've cleaned them probably a half dozen times between them. But nothing comes from it. Anyone know of a common fix for this or some insight?

My nomad is dead. I've tried its battery pack, offical cord, to no avail. The low batt light doesnt even flash anymore. I opened it up once, didn't see any obvious problems. Anyone know what might be the problem?

Now I've been to all the sites talking about modding their mega drives. But I need pictures of American Genesis' because so far none of the sites talking about their megadrives have had correct pictures for mine. Any help would be appreciated greatly.
