Help, I have recently run into some files that I have gotten off of an ftp, when I un-rar them, they have a .ccd extension and one was an .IMG. not an .iso, can anyone advise? thanks.

It is a perfect copy of something.

It could be a perfect copy of an iso/mp3 rip. ???

and if your having problems with burning it, a trick that usualkly works is to mount the image using daemon tools then just copy it to a cdr from there using your normal copying software

CloneCD actually has an option of including a regular .cue file (CDRWin-style cuesheet) with the image it makes.

So whenever you encounter an image with four files instead of three (.ccd .img .sub and .cue), you can also disregard the .ccd and .sub file entirely, and just use the .cue and .img file like a regular raw-mode BIN/CUE set - the .img file doubles as a raw-mode .bin file, just with a different file extension.
