Anime you MUST watch!

I was wondering if anybody had watched any shows made during the current millenium...

I dunno, I don't think I want to see Elfen Lied, too many people were griping that it was gore for gore's sake, and the story was just plain stupid. Hey, just like Gantz. Rolleyes. Too much of the new new stuff coming out is too shoujo for my tastes... which are funny and/or kickass without being stupid.

Momotato Daioh is pretty good for previews of new shows/episodes.

DBZ - Saiyan thru Frieza Sagas, goes downhill from there.... (IMO)

thats all I can think of for now.

I wasn't too impressed w/ Initial D even though the mangas are excelent, some graphic novels don't translate well to anime I guess
