I downloaded Batsugun a while ago (iso, cue, multiple mp3 files) and burned it successfully.

Successfully? Alas, not quite.

The game works beautifully but the audio is messed up... both during gameplay and in the options menu under BGM, almost all of the tracks start like in the middle ... they play & sound fine but all the beginnings/ends are somehow thrown into disarray.

I'm suspecting this is one game where the length of each audio track on the CD actually matters. What I want to do is decode the mp3s to wav and correct their length, then reburn the game. (Or use varying postgaps in the cue sheet? Can I do that?)

Someone who has a proper copy of the game, could you give me the exact length of all audio tracks? Either in bytes, or in min:sec:frames? That would be wonderful...
