Cd-r Music on Saturn

I've noticed on my second saturn that I just bought, everything seems to be working properly, it reads games fine, plays fine, also plays commercial audio cds without a problem. But, it doesn't play music burned to a cd-r. Does the saturn not play music cd-rs?

Actually it should work ... does the saturn display something on the cd player screen when you have your music cd-r inserted ?

It actually displays the track info, but the tracks either do not play or play in a very messed up way, where you can't even tell its music.

Ok, so I've done some more testing. This morning I tried putting a few more cd-rs in there. The first 5 or so weren't even read by the drive. Then I used a few commerical audio cds- the first 3-4 of those didn't work either. Finally, I got a commerical cd to work, AND a cd-r. But something has got to be wrong with the drive for it to only be reading the discs perfectly some of the time. Add to that the fact that sometimes when playing a game the music craps out, and if you turn it off and on again it works fine. Yeah, I think I'm going to have to return this one.

Ok, so now here's the deal. I actually adjusted the laser.... not by much, only by a little. Now everything seems to be working like a charm, music fixed, loading up cd-r music etc. My question to you guys is whether or not I should exchange it for another one seeing as how with the laser corrected it seems to be working perfectly.
