Well, after this weekend it seems I'd do well with having something like GPS alongside me when I'm trekking across the great northeast, since it seems it'll be a fairly regular thing.
Before I drop $100+ to get my laptop rigged with the latest and greatest, I was wondering if it's possible to use a cell phone as a GPS receiver? I have an Ericsson R280di (internet access and all that stuff) with a phone-to-serial cord (allows me to use the web wirelessly).
Anyone know if this is possible or has been done? And how?
