Crazy Saturn

Inside another Saturn.

Pick up an el-cheapo one on eBay, sometimes when they come without any cables, controllers, games or the battery cover, they can be dirt-cheap. And then you can just take the power supply out.

I've run into a brick wall. It doesn't seem I can find a replacement for that component. I tried what I ahd hoped would be an easy and cheap method, but it didn't work out. It may still be that particular component, but for now I'm stumped. Sorry.

Considering that I've now got 3 power supplies with different pin voltage and location configurations, you might be better off just using the new Saturn rather than trying to transfer the power supply. *shrug*

Yes, which is why I wouldn't buy an "el-cheapo" one on ebay in hopes of using that. I could end up with less money and still no reliable Saturn between the two. I will probably eventually just buy a tested working Saturn and transfer my mod to that one. Perhaps using the A+B method this time (it should work on any Sat, its from gamegizmo).

But hopefully at some point Curtis will be struck by divine inspiration. My Saturn still works, and it isn't unstable once it is running, so I'm not in a rush. Just unhappy. It currently just takes 1-7 tries to get a game to load (originals or CDR, doesn't matter). Hopefully it won't degrade any time soon.
