Do i need a mod chip?

Hi.I was wondering if I needed a mod chip for my Sega Saturn to play burnt games?I do have a 5 in 1 for my Saturn.Will the 5 in 1 allow me to play the cdr games?Please let me know what I need in my Saturn.Thanks.

the 5-1 will not let you play back up cd-r's only imports. A mod chip will allow you to play back-up cdr's but you don't need it. You can just swap the cd's. Check the miscellaneous section for more info.
