Does Street Fighter Alpha 2 support the 4MB RAM cart?

As the title says, does it? My US edition of the game has (finally) arrived. I recall reading an online review which said something along the lines of "With or without the 4MB RAM cart, the game shines [etc]". Of course, since the game was released internationally while the cartridge(s) weren't, I doubt that support exists . . . but expert insight is welcome. =)

As far as I know, SFA2 predates the RAM cart by a decent margin. It also isn't on Shin Force's RAM cart list.

Alpha/Zero 3 is the one that supports it. (it's actually mandatory that you have it).

The only US game that supports the RAM cart is Marvel Super Heroes, I believe. If that game was released in PAL regions, I'm assuming it supports it as well.
