Final Fantasy I and II for GBA News!

Final Fantasy I and II will be released in Japan on July 15th for the Gameboy Advance. FF I will feature a Soul of Chaos mode which is a new dungeon that allows you to battle 4 bosses from Final Fantasy III and IV. FF II will have a Soul of Re-Birth mode which is a side quest that reveals the past of four heroes who were killed in the game.

Even with all those 'add-ons', will this game be even worth the purchase?

I love Nintendo, but I'm starting to see a lot of rehashes going on.

I don't mind bringing back old games and improving them. Super Dodge Ball Advanced, River City Ransom, and Mario vs DK all spring to mind. But the simple porting of NES and SNES games is getting very old. Plus, if they were gonna bring FF1 and FF2 out, why not include 3. That would make it a worthwhile purchase for me. Include a game that's never been released outside of Japan.
