www.freeservers.com has free hosting. Don't kinow how good it is anymore though since I haven't made a site on there in a long time.
I've been working on a free website offering, though it is targeted to particular types of sites. The sites will have ads on them, but no pop-ups or horrible hovers-over-your-content java crap. The site layout is predesigned, they're all the same. Users just have to add their own content. The home page is a blog that can be used for either news announcements or, well... a blog. You can bring your own domain for no charge (other than what you pay to register the domain). If someone wants to have the ads removed from their site (as well as get additional space and bandwidth) they can do so for a low annual fee.

Oh, one other thing... I won't host porn. Mature content is okay, but nothing X-rated, no nude photography. (Although I may set up a service like this at some point in the future, one never knows and that does seem to be the only way to make money on the internet these days.)

nah lol it's not a journal lol if i was going to journal stuff i'd just use my old geo page or ramble on here. The page would be a spot me page. i mean when you think about it everyone here is in other people's vacation pics or just pics that they took. so i'd ask people to see if i'm in pics of theirs. now i know it wont work unless i hype it so i'd do that just i'd have to start it up first. it'd be called where's joedoe and have a where's waldo theme for the background and stuff.
