Guardian Force - "What a corker"

Anybody played this? 😱mg:

I got it running last night and was really impressed with it.

Highly underated.

Kind of like GUNHEAD on the pc engine except you have a tank which has 2 weapons.

The second weapon is fully controlable.

Really good challenge and impressive graphics.

If you like shooters this is brilliant.

Cant wait to link it up to my video projector (100 inches of mega blasting yyyyyyyeerrrrr).

I really like this game... it's vaguely reminiscent of Mass Destruction in that you control a tank and can go in all eight directions (nice touch!) yet it incorporates many elements of your classic 2D arcade scrolling shooter, too. It just does the whole job very well. A typical Saturn gem, much like Psychic Killer Taromaru (in the being-a-gem sense I mean) 🙂

It's a kinda expensive game (on the oopen markets)... I've been refered to it by several people and never heard anything bad about it, but I just can't whip up the cash to get it...
