how many people preorderd ikaruga!

I got this game on the 9th last week; it is beautiful! It has Layer Section style selectable views and is perfect to the counterpart- NAOMI. Also there is incentive for playing over and over just like Radiant in that you can build your Credits based on gameplay time. The graphics and music blow any other shooter out of the solar system and you have to play it on a surround sound system to get the full effect. There is none higher than Treasure and, yes, the Utopia Boot CD does work.

Well i'm sorry but i got an HK silver. Fuck searching all over this works just perfect. THe disc i use to boot games is made by gamestop and that works well.

What, you actually bought an illegal copy? Now I can understand warezing, lord knows I've done enough of that, but actually handing over money to professional criminals for a counterfeit item is something I just don't get.

Christ Gallstaff, it's not like you have to search hard to find it. And like antime says, willingly giving someone cash for a pirate doesn't make you much better than them.

This friggen sucks! All these Chinese stores get shit cheaper and faster than the rest of us. We have to pay $60+ US for a copy, while these Chinese kids down the road pay like $10 for HK Silvers. On top of that, they get games like weeks and weeks before legit stores start stocking them. But whats even more unfair is that you can't do shit unless you know the stores and can talk Chinese.

Dude, calm down man. With any luck those HK disks were so scratched they didn't work.

BTW: Gallstaff, You need a boot disk? Most HK disks are universal, but if not I guess most people just uses them on asian units?

Well done Gallstaff.

Why don't you give the Dreamcast one last kick before it's dead?

I thought you'd reformed.

She did say "IF you have no problems with it...". Quite odviously some people here don't and already bought one

Come to think of it, paying for HK Silvers is pretty nasty. Your probably funding those Chinese Triads who sell drugs and make other knockoff products. These are the same guys who probably kiddnap girls and rape them on camera to make porn VCDs.

Having read the frontpage, I think maybe the new rule here should read 'If you even mention copied games here you will be put on the staff!'.

Has anyone here gotten to the end of the game; has anyone made it to the last boss? The last stage and bosses are sweet, but hard as hell!! It is going to take a while for me to beat the game with just one ship!! I love this game!!

Maybe I'm dumb, but what the heck does HK Silver supposed to mean? Is it just a ripped copy or something special???

Not that I would ever do such a thing

What's HK stand for?

HK= Hong Kong

They do pretty impressive looking pirate copies of games over there, as I recently found out.

Oh yeah I remember you talking about that.

Yeah I would be ticked if I thought I was getting the real thing too.

I agree that it's not quite the same as having the "real game".

Even if I don't have all the packaging -- primariliy w/ Saturn and SCD since the USA cases are freakin huge. Although I love the JP Saturn packages

Dreamcast games, I only like the complete package.

BTW, Ikaruga is also very sweet in my book too. I haven't spent this much time on a shooter since I first got Silpheed on my Sega CD years ago.
