Here's the general plot so far: (Copied and pasted from our conversation)
first before i start, the main character he has the power to turn into a creature called the Lord of Duct... hes a tall guy wearing a black trench coat with white embroidery.... he uses duct tape and a shotgun as weapons. I need a name for his character when hes normal and not all suped up (he gets this way when he gets ticked off, or feels heroic like having to save a friend in dire need)
so as a normal person who doesnt know he has the power one day decides to go out to the country and visit his father. while hes out there he meets a girl who just moved to town, named tara, shes a healer, and her and her father are trying to hide from this powerful organization.
(ill give him the random name bob for now, not gonna be his real name though) Bob then is walking out in the woods one day and in the air fly in to air ships and mercenaries pile out... they start tearing the shit out of town and bob runs off to get to his dad. Meets up with tara whose trying to save her dad just hurt by the lil minion bastard monster made by the mercenary scientists.
she joins party after father dies, they go on find bob's dad. and thats when Dr. thodt makes his intro.
dr. thodt is in a big lab coat, hes got black embroidery all over it and no hands... hes only go belts hanging out the place where his hands are supposed to be.
out of his sleees he can shoot these belts and cloth that form into strait jackets and capture people. tied to his left arm is a leash and there is one of the minion lil' monsters on the end of the leash, its humanoid but you can tell dr. thodt did some tests on him.
he captures tara in a stait jacket, bob gets enraged and converts into LoD... thodt is all like "ah and here is who im lookin' for." the two fight, LoD loses and gets captured and thrown in a cell on one of the airships.
now LoD is back as bob and has to break out of the cell, locate tara, and get off the ship.
Bob find tara get off ship.
now from here bob and tara go back to bobs house in the city.
his apartment is trashed.
so he goes to the local club.
this is where Cloud shows up.
Bob meets up with his friend Andy, who is a regular at the club. Andy's girlfriend is Des. <_<
Cloud's at the club too, playing VF, and owning everyone who challenges him. :lol:
Bob comes to Cloud asking questions, Cloud for start the conversation off talkin' bout Des and how much of an asshole Andy is to her... then Cloud go onto to answer Bob's question.
Cloud start up with talk about this gang who broke in and trashed Bob's apartment (gonna turn out to be mal) just then the gang comes into the club, mal not with them though, and start up a ruccus with Bob.
theres going to be a brawl in the club... Bob and Andy and Tara have to fight off a bunch of people...
Cloud finds out about LoD, and also saves Des from getting killed in the brawl (figuring the place falls in from the massive fight the ensues when LoD comes out).
after the club while mal confronts bob, Cloud is at the side tending to Des after the cave in of the club.
she thinks Cloud is sweet for helping and is bitching how inconsiderate andy was for not helping.
the gang is gonna be the start but im thinking the gang inadvertantly lead the mercenaries there. and that how the big fight happens. mal then shows up as the leader of the gang... tells his story how his town was destroyed and he thinks Bob has something to do with it, but not quite sure so for now hes not gonna kill Bob. He sides with Cloud and goes off to hunt down the mercenaries.
dr. thodt is trying to hunt LoD down and no cost... whiping out anyone who gets in the way... he is turning people against Bob now that he know exactly who he is so its easier to find em'
a new party member named frank joins team LoD.
both teams continually meet up and mal gradually starts to like bob and stops blaiming him by the end of the game. team sx gets another member.
its gonna probably come down too because everyone thinks Bob is a bad guy so Des stays in Team SX because everyone considers them the hero team.
she likes Cloud so much though because Cloud seem to still think Bob is fighting for good.
but she doesnt want anything to do with team LoD cause of Andy.
she starts to like how Cloud is trying to help save the world from dr. thodt and the organization he works for.
thodt wants bob and tara for some evil plan that deals with powers they gained at birth... turns out the organization that tara and her father wanted to find them cause her dad was the scientist who gave bob, tara and thodt there powers... tara's dad was inadvertintly killed at the town... taras dad was there to see bobs dad, thats why thodt killed bobs dad, cause bobs dad didnt give up the info of taras dads whereabouts.
the reason thodt wants tara and bob is because he know the combined powers of the three can release thodt from the dimension they live in and move onto a new weaker dimension that thodt could easily take complete power over.
cause see the premise of the game and why it looks like its a painting and drawing is that they actually live in another world that is this way, and thodt wants to get out to our real world (the one me and you live in) and wreak havoc.
