Japanese MegaCD

Ok I've coma across a site with Japanese MegaCD's for dirt cheap and I'm tempted to get it...

But would it work with my PAL MegaDrive?

(Yea, I know I'll need a CDX to play PAL Games)

You'd have to install the language and 50/60hz switches before it would work.

My PAL Mega CD won't work if I have my Megadrive on 60hz when they're both powered on, so I figure it'd be the same the other way around.

I think I might try and get a Multimega instead.
