What do you think of this Godzilla like game?

One of my favorite brawlers back in the day. You could pick up buildings and throw them at your opponent. Little airplanes and boats and tanks also attacked you while you were fighting your rival. Man was that fun.

Good game, but KOTM2 is better by far, especially the Genesis version (more like Street Fighter, less like wrestling). I used to play the hell out of these games, and still play KOTM2 occasionally. I always loved the genre.. played a lot of Rampage back in the day as well. If you like these games, I highly suggest you check out Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee.

KOTM is great. I use to play this game for hours. But i did like KOTM2 much better. And rampage was also fun. Lots of people say its to repetative. But i like it. I didn't like The Godzilla: Destroy all monsters melee however. But that one game on ps2, War of the Monsters? I can't remember what it was called, but i thought that game was pretty cool.

Yeah, I need to check out that War of the Monsters game. I haven't played it, but it looks cool. There was another similar one for PC a while back, but I don't remember what it was called... also, I can't remember the name of this game either, but there was a quite basic city-destroying game that was originally released on SGI for a contest and now is OSS that was very fun. Need to see if I can find that one...

What didn't you like about DAMM? Sure, the one player was kind of boring, but multiplayer is quite fun and I love the fact that the sounds are all completely authentic. It's definitely the best Godzilla game I've played.

Btw, Shitface, Lizzie > George. 😉

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to mention I used to do endless loops on the Amiga version of Rampage without dying back in the day. I think my record was like 3 1/2 complete runs through the game. I still haven't finished World Tour though.

Ok, i have to agree with you. Lizzie is way better than George.

Anywho... Does DAMM have more than 2 players? If it does then it might be enough to change my mind. But i only played it at stores in 2 player mode and i got kinda bored.

You can play up to four players in melee or destruction mode. No bots, though, unfortunately. Also, I don't know if the store had all the monsters unlocked, but you only start with four. The rest you have to earn by beating the game.

hahaha i member that game for snes n my favorite is that lizard looking monster  times though music gets really annoying after a while.. whats u favorite monster?
