New GAMEBOY???!!!

I see all GBA buttoms there (A, B, L, R, Start and Select).
This one is actually smaller than the previous renditions. It's the size of one of those tiny cellphones (yeah, the screen is smaller as well). There is talk about it being able to read SD cards and play MP3s out of the box, but I have yet to see it confirmed somewhere.
I don't see that much point for it either, but maybe it's to give the GBA some more exclusive features in relation to the NDS in order to boost the sales or something. Or it's just that Nintendo likes to makes things smaller whenever it becomes viable (the orignal Gameboy had 3 versions as well).

Anyway, the SP is small enough for me, plus it has the fold-down screen, which makes it more truly portable IMO. The L/R button placement looks better on this one, but that seems like the only advantage.

4 inches long, 2 inches wide and 0.7 inches in depth...weighs the same as 80 paper clips. Why I remember that I have no clue....but still.
I suppose Ninty are just trying to make it even more portable. If they can get it smaller then they might as well....no use in concealing the technology just for Sony to steal it. I imagine it's aimed more at the people who are yet to own a GBA... so to get a true opinion you'd need someone here with the lack of one. Ah well, it was a surprise and I guess thats what Ninty wanted.
