Playing Pal games on Jap DC

Uhh, hi, can someone please tell me if there is anyway to get your PAL games working on a JAP machine??...

I have the utopia boot disk ver1.1, and an old version1.0 jap machine, and I managed to snag some PAL games... which where I live (ZA) is a near miracle... now some of them work, but some, like Shenmue and VF3 don't, it's like the boot disk doesn't recognise them... can someone please help, cos I really wanna play these games, and I just know that I won't get another opportunity, importing is darn near impossible for me... thx

Hi,

I had the same problem.

If you have an NTSC (JAP) machine (which you do ) you have to use either the Gameshark or the Code Breaker.

If you have a PAL machine you have to use the Action Replay.

Other boot discs will be fine but these three have the highest compatability.
