I just got a cdrom drive replacement for my Brazilian 1st model Saturn, but it doesn't work. The new drive acts weird, when powering it up the lens just go up and down slowly...
The new drive it's a 32 IC model EXL-PL608, the old drive it's a 64 IC model EXL-PL604.
According to the thread below, the pl605 isn't exchangeable for the pl608...maybe I got the same problem with the pl604?
