Samba stalling out on Suse 9.3

I upgraded to Suse 9.3 from 9.2, it's really great but I'm having a problem with Samba that I didn't have before.

Most of the Windows shares on another computer are accessible through Samba, but some folders will cause Konqueror to stall. I can't see a pattern though. The firewall is down on either computer.

My laptop still has Suse 9.1, and all of the shares are accessible from it.

Anyone ever heard of this?

Hmm, well, the first thing I would try is setting up the shares in /etc/fstab and then mounting them from the command line... see if you can access the directories in question that way. If so, it's most likely a Konquerer bug.

That's actually the first thing I did (turn off the firewall).

I will try to mount the shares from fstab.

EDIT: That worked. It, you rock.

Now I don't think I'll have to boot back to Windows for a long time :D
