I just recently got a Saturn from my friend without any cables. My brother stripped down a PSX cable and rewired it for a video cable, and for the power cable we're using an X-Box power cable! Is this a bad idea or not? I'm trying to tell myself it won't matter, but I don't want to harm my system and definitely don't want to harm my mod chip, as I just bought the thing from Rocketboy.
Before last week I had never even played a Saturn, is it normal for it to get really warm on the top, on the side where the power supply is located? Should I really invest in $5 for a stupid third party Saturn cable on e-bay, or will I be okay with the X-Box one?
