I tried to trace the lines on my Saturn PSU to make it run on 12VDC. From what I´ve gathered so far the unit converts the 110/220V AC to 12VDC and then splits it into 3 voltages which are labeled on the PSU board. The big question is where exactly those 12V are supposed to be present on the board. At first, I thought the correct place was the chip near the copper coil next to the power plug (the one with the + and - signs on it) but connecting 12VDC to its outlets left me with a slowly flashing power light and the console not powering up completely. I´m not that deep into electronics so I´d really appreciate it if anyone could help.
