True, it of course makes sense on their part.. it's not pretty though. Also, I'm not sure it makes sense for the MLB. Madden/EA Sports is a huge name, and it makes sense for the NFL to go with exclusivity. Baseball video games are a little more diverse, and I think it would make more sense for the MLB to just collect royalties from multiple games.

I just hope this situation doesn't end up the same way it did with some games back in the 80's and 90's - with the MLB signing a license agreement with one company, and the MLBPA signing with another.
