SegaCD Question: Asking about how text pointer systems work in SegaCD games

Hello, everyone. I don't know if this is the most appropriate place to post this here, so if it isn't, I apologize for any errors made here.

Anyway, I'm sure you've heard that I've worked on several translation patches for various NES and FDS games. Well, I had thought of working on other platforms... once of which happens to be the SegaCD/MegaCD. The game in question... After Armageddon Gaiden: Maju Toushouden Eclipse.

I managed to put together a table file to search for the text located in the game. Fortunately, the game's text is uncompressed, so it should be easy to dump using a program like Cartographer. Well, I wish it was that easy.

While I did locate the game's text locations, I'm trying to find a way to dump the text via the game's text pointers system (like in other platforms like NES or FDS). The problem is... I don't know where they're located or how they function. If that mystery can be solved, working a translation patch for this game in the future could be plausible.

As of now, whatever notes I've put together as well as two table files (one in SHIFT-JIS and one in UTF-8) are available in my current GitHub repository. There's also a text file that contains the game's list of files that's within the first file. (I'm not sure if this is the proper terminology.)

Any information, assistance, etc. would be nice to receive. Thank you for your time.
