Snatcher with Gens 2.00

Well the problem here is that when just after I go in the car with metal gear (at the beggining) for some strange reason it doesn`t seem to load to the factory level. I`m using Gens 2.00 and this sort of thing never happened to me before...could it be the image file? or the emulator?

The image hosted by ElPortal had a corrupted track 12.

It also had a good track 12 as an additional download but it seems people must have missed it.

I`ve downloaded the image file and mp3s from Emupardise.org

and how can you check if track 12 is corrupted? it seems to play just fine.....do I need to rename them? Heres the name of some of my files:

Snacher T01 Mode1 2048.iso

Snacher T02 Audio 2352.mp3

Snacher T03 Audio 2352.mp3

Snacher T04 Audio 2352.mp3

Theres 21 Mp3s....is there any missing?

Thanks

Assuming you are running the game using iso/mp3s...

From Gens.txt

* Running a Sega-CD/Mega-CD Game from a CD image/Mp3 file:

----------------------------------------------------------

Gens also supports CD images (backups) in .iso/.bin/.raw format with .mp3

audio. It is recommended that when using CD images that you have both the CD

image and the correct .mp3 files available as many games will not run if the

audio tracks aren't present.

For Gens to correctly identify any .mp3 audio tracks for your CD images they

have to be placed in the same directory as the CD image file with the same

file name as the CD image followed by a track number. For example if you are

using a CD image called Blaster.iso with three .mp3 files you would need to

put all the files in the same directory and rename them like this:

Blaster.iso

Blaster 02.mp3

Blaster 03.mp3

Blaster 04.mp3

There are a couple of important points to remember when setting up your CD

images & .mp3 files for use with Gens:

* The CD Image should NOT be numbered, it won't work if you have

"Blaster 01.iso" instead of "Blaster.iso"!

* The CD image acts as track one so the first audio track will always

be track two+.

* The track numbers must also be a TWO DIGIT number: 02, 03,...10 etc.,

NOT 2, 3,...10.

* The space between the file name and the track number is optional.

i don't have an iso file. i have an .raw file. i can't get this type to work with gens. another thing when i burn the mp3s, i always get underscores instead of spaces. ( i use nero)

You use whatever CD image borwser app you can find, and extract the audio tracks out of it (if it has any) as .WAV and the data track as a .BIN, then convert WAV to MP3 and BIN to ISO.

But it would be 10000X better to actually burn that thing and run it off the CD...

it doesn't seem to work. the game works intil i'm supposed to got to factory. it frezzes at that point. i have renamed the mp3s without spaces. But it doesn't include the music in the iso. is my file corrupt?

if you still need track 12 either pm me or email me, i thoink you would solve alot of problems by looking for the snatcher cuesheet posted here ages ago though, and burning the cd properly as a mixed mode cd (see the misc section for a tutorial for that) since snater is very particular about the gaps and such on the music side of the game

This wasn't as easy to find as I thought it would be...
