It is with tremendous pride that I announce our v1.0 release of the English translation patch for "Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001" on the SEGA Dreamcast!
A lot of polish went into this special release, so read on!

Firstly, no official Western localization ever saw the ~5,100 post-win quotes fully translated. Instead, we got about a seventh of the original text, but heavily watered down (to put it nicely)...
UNTIL TODAY! Now, all of this fun dialogue is present and in English!
This patch translates EVERYTHING, including the special move list, which was borrowed from the PlayStation 2 release with numerous fixes and clean-ups.
On top of that, we also used the PlayStation 2 game as source for the end-game cutscene text, but with TONS of fixes, clean-ups, and even a few rewrites!
We didn't stop there, though! The now-defunct "Network Mode" has been replaced with "Bonus Mode", delivering special bonus content, including a 100% unlocked save, an original Japanese TV commercial (subtitled), and developer interviews translated by Benjamin Roodberg.
I'd like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the team who worked with me to make this ambitious project a reality: rob2d for graphics, Duralumin, Jesuszilla, Tortita, Justin Gibbins, and hasnopants for translation, and Silentscope for playtesting.
And remember, as always there's TONS of useful information in the README (linked in the first post). I highly suggest players skim the "What's Changed" section before diving in.
Another important note is that this patch has been delivered in multiple formats designed to ensure no Dreamcast fan is left out! There's two forms of GDI patches and, depending on your hardware revision, two CDI patch variants.
Please consult the README for more details.
Lastly, if you're feeling generous and want to contribute to my ongoing translation patch efforts, head on over to DreamcastForever.com and click "Contact" for the donation link.
Enjoy the patch!
