WHAT THE HELL?!

Great, yet another VF I need to add to my collection....

Even if it's an arcade perfect port, I'll still more likely play the Saturn version more.

Oh and Schi, if you're talking about the US, we'll get it. We're getting all the AGES games.

You guys do know that 2.1 was also in the Saturn version right? You could switch between both 2.0 and 2.1 if you wanted.

Yeah? How do you do that?

racket, just keep calling me Cloud. Actually EVERYONE, keep calling me Cloud.

To change between 2.0 and 2.1 you press the R button in the options screen and the top option on the second screen is selecting between 2.0 and 2.1.

There were many changes from 2.0 to 2.1:

Version 2.0:

Unblocked PK combo causes characters to fall.

No pauses when running backwards

Player and CPU-controlled Shun and Lion automatically track when Shun or Lion scoot around behind the opponent

2P Lau floats higher when kicked, and is slower getting up

Version 2.1

Unblocked PK combo causes characters to stagger

Pauses when running backwards

Player and CPU-controlled Shun and Lion do not automatically track when Shun or Lion scoot around behind the opponent

Both 1P and 2P Lau react exactly the same to kicks and getting up

Kage's Koenraku-thrown fighters don't float as long, making it harder to get off attacks before they land

Jacky's recover from his Flip Kick is longer by 1/5 of a second, making him more vulnerable

If hit during a backdash, the fighter staggers

Height of Kage's Koenraku adjusted

Recovery from staggering after elbow, sidekick attacks now easier to do

In the case of an attack which involves falling to the ground, a down attack can hit, even if the fighter is not completely down on the ground

The stopping distance after a long-distance run changed from 3.0 meters to 1.5 meters

I'm impressed that you can name the differences between the two versions, but you've really got to get out more.

I will believe it when I see it. They are working on releasing 1 Sega Ages title and a PS collection. And if that selld poorly, we will not see more. I'm willing to bet on that. Sega had to fight with Sony to get approval to release it.

Yeah, it's not up to Sega, unfortunetely. It'd be nice if the Ages stuff was on multiple consoles, so you wouldn't have to go through Sony exclusively for approval.
