What do you think about NintendoXtreme/Tendoweb? What do you think could be improved on it or added? How do you think we can bring in more members in the forums for more lively chats?

The site by its self is great. Many wonderful features like music, movies and manuals. I find the forums to be the only down side. And thats not the fault of the site, members are just not as active. The only think I can think of, would be merging the boards into one. Is that possible? Then people would have no excuse for not posting nintendo with nintendo.

It's dull and the design is uninteresting.

I vote for a new make up or a complete redesign.
The information you have here rank with the best, but the atmosphere is really....what's the word I'm looking for...dull.
The website looks like someone said, "You know what kid, I'm going to make a Nintendo site for the fuck of it."
Slab some specs here-and-there and WAM!, N site complete.

When I first came here, I really felt that there was no love in the work.
It just feels like some one made this site for shits and giggles, and not for real.

Ian Van Dahl, yes you are right. A complete redesign is on the way though, it has been in the works for a while. It wont be done for a couple months though.

As a matter of fact, thinking to myself, it must be 'make-over' season.
Everyone one that I know is redesigning their website, including me (assisting that is).

As with everything, I hope the new design not only illustrates the true concept your aiming for, but also a little bit of the author as well. ^_^

I do agree, though, we need to merge the board here with SX. And if I ever get back around to working on 3X, that's gonna share the board (though I'm gonna set up more forums). Plus, that way we could set up more sister sites and have crossover traffic. Maybe bring back NECXtreme, start up a NeoGeoXtreme, and maybe even at some point a SonyXtreme and an XtremeXbox site (XboxXtreme reads... pornographic).

Most, if not all, the people that post here also post at SX. But many of the SX members don't post here. You see that with the many nintendo related postings over there. I personally think one message board would bring more of a sense of community.

Personally I think the board is fine and works for my needs/wants.
A new logo maybe -- which I could work on it

I don't see a problem with that, but as I stated before, I'm working on my own.
But, if Ice wants some more input, which I've done already, I'd like to see what he already has in store before jumping in his Kool-Aid trying to add more sugar to a possibly over saturated flavor.

Ours is starting to take shape, but still has a long way to go.

And there's no denying it.
As stated before, the information and material that's within this site ranks among that top but, in this game of 'hits', presentation is key.
And if that is not there, then the material won't matter since nobody will actually read it.

You could have the best coding in the world for an operating system, but if the GUI is not user-friendly and eye-catching, then it won't really sell that great.
