After reading through many of the threads I found that mal posted the 21 pin CD board chronology:

64 pin IC

32 pin IC

Right now the only saturns that seem to easily be modded are the 32 pin IC ones. So perhpas if everyone lists some information about the saturn they have we can come up with a fairly reliable range of dates a compatible console was manufactured. So if anyone has the time or the desire perhaps you could post this information about your saturn. Here is what we have so far.

I have been lucky, both my saturns bought of ebay have been 32-pin

anyway here are the details if it helps others, UK models

Both are mk 80200A-50 made in indonesia (round grey buttons)

both have 670-8326A in the top-right corner of the sticker on the back

serial numbers AD69024XXX

AD69113XXX

maybe this might help someone else track down 32-pin moddable saturns

Not sure whether to keep or sell the 2nd saturn, ebay don't like you advertising modded stuff.
