Great news for us Zelda fans! Apparently the new Zelda GC game is completed and is scheduled for a year end release in Japan. So sayeth Eiji Aonuma from Nintendo.

Also the upcomming Zelda game for the DS will be similar to the Four Swords game.

ok, it's completed now....but why are they waiting to release it at the ned of the year?

By completed do they mean pretty much done, just need to test it, get all the bugs out, fix errors, etc. and translate for a same day us/jap release 😛?

"Year end release" usualy means just as the Christmas sales drive starts. So like November or so. If the game is complete now in February, that leaves them 9 months to do everything else that goes into releasing a game. IE: creating the instruction book, all the cover and disc art and designing any advertising campaigns, actualy producing the first run of the game discs, taking initial pre-orders... There's a lot that goes into getting a game out after all the programming is done.

Sorry to have to say this, but it's a bad translation. It's not completed yet. He simply meant that it is comming. I never did like IGN.... But they're usually right.

OK, small and puny update on what i've seen so far... could be wrong, cuz you know... these things can always be wrong.

Gamestop.com says that the new GC Zelda will be coming out on the 1st of June of this year...
