Hi everybody,
I'm planning to buy the jandam*'s modchip for Saturn.
Sorry for following stupid questions, I'm new in this forum (and I don't know Saturn very much) and my questions could be already made in the past. So I just beg your pardon if any question is too lame! 🙂
I have a MK200A-50 PAL Saturn. My only purpose is backing-up five original games I have got with my Saturn.
Here my questions:
- A friend told me that all old Saturn modchips work with just "printed" backup copies, that is, I can't use PC burned backups on CD-R. I don't believe him, since I've found some demo program on the net in ISO format ready to burn up. So, after I solder my modchip, can I use standard a PC burning program and some CD-R disc?
- what is the best program for PC for backing-up? Is there some special instruction to follow?
- Can I use CD-R 74 minutes only? Are the Saturns 80 min/CD-RW suitable? Are all CD-R company models good, or is there some preferred model?
Thank you in advance!
Regards,
davide
