You are the ELEMENTAL MASTER, and you’re the only person with the power to put an end to Gyra’s reign of terror. Harnessing the power of the elements fire, water, wind, and the earth you use them as your very own weapons to fight all that is evil in the world. You’ll be up against Gyra’s most ruthless henchmen as you battle through eight levels of intense action. But you’ve got the power of magic on your side, and if you can master the five spells at your disposal, you’ll be a nearly unstoppable force. Of course, when you’re single-handedly taking on an entire army, the odds are stacked against you. But with the power of the elements, you’re the only one who can stop Gyra and his army.

Awww yeah! This is one of the best shmups on the Genesis, bar none! I actually like this game as much as the Thunderforce series. Awesome music as well. But then, what would you expect from Technosoft? A unique style of gameplay and great presentation all rolled into one nice package. The only bad point, IMHO, is that some of the sound effects are a bit annoying.

Great choice for GOTW, it's cool to see a slightly lesser-known game getting the spotlight.

My favourite shoot em up for the system! Awesome atmosphere and music, and a very nice bunch of enemies as well. The game is hard enough to stay interesting, yet easy enough not to be demotivated to finish it. Together with Dragon's Fury, my favourite Technosoft game!

I bought it just because I'm trying to collect all the stuff that Renovation published, and it turned out that it was one of the best things they brought over... I was (and am) quite happy with it, but sad that I missed it when it was new.
