Hmmm, Sat rip acting all weird.

Hey all. I am having a burning problem 🙁. When I try backing up my Virtua Cop 2 game w/ CDRWin it makes the bin/cue fine. The bin is 355,198,128 big and here is what the cue sheet says:

Now when I try and burn it w/ CDRWin it tells me: Warning: Disc layout contains one or more tracks that are shorter than 4 seconds. This is a violation of the CDROM specifications. Do you want to continue? I then select yes and then this message pops up: Error: "WRITE" command failed on device 0:0:0 Illegal command request (04h 00h 2h0 05h 20h 00h). I doubt those numbers give any hint but ya never know 😉.

Now when I use nero it gives me a lil more information, attached is a pic of the info. It tells me the layout is too damn big, which is clearly visable in the pic...it's reads that last track as being 3,563MB.

Does anyone know why it it being so stupid? I know the game isn't hard to find at all, I just wanna backup my origionals and really dont like downloading them much. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Maybe try using CloneCD.

I've often found that it will copy CDs that CDRWin rejects.

As to why you're having the problems, I just don't know.

That size problem with nero is a known *feature* lol, somehow it doesn't like saturn's bincue images with lots of cdda tracks, cdrwin should burn it, tough...

As mal said, try clonecd... or you could convert bin+cue to iso+wav and burn with nero, you should have no probs then.

well I am archiving.....so I wanna keep bin/cue. Also, cdrwin wont lemme burn either.

What other proggies rip to bin/cue? Does CloneCD?

Well tried CLoneCD and it just wants to rip to .ccd. I am backing up all my games and dont want all of em to be bin/cue and 1 be ccd. Any other reason as it might be stupid? Even CDRWin wont lemme....
