I think there might be a thread somewhere on SX about making one but damn if I can find it, the folks over at the French forum Darius Saturn have successfully made one using the schematics and there's a 3d print mold for the cable dating back to 2016 that you can use to make it look like the real thing.

Only got one saturn, maybe is time to buy another, and need also test some stuff in my netlink project.

Cool! This is probably most interesting for indy dev / game hacks. There were so few games that used this - I had it along with two copies of Gun Griffon 2. I think I had my buddy over and we played it all of once (had to drag over 2 TVs, 2 modded Saturns, etc). Sadly I sold both copies of Gun Griffon 2 and the cable like 20 years ago.

I don't have a use for it currently (I do own 2 Saturns, but one is currently not working), but I do have a 3D printer. I'll print it and see how it fits though.
