Megacart finaly released

Hi everybody :call2:

I'm glad to tell that Megacart is finaly released. It has been a first little run two month ago (I started a topic here too), and everybody seems happy with it. Now i've been informed that the second/final run is ready.

For those interested, Megacart is the lastest Megacd/Segacd utility cartridge. It does, so far :

-Backup your saves (up to 2000 blocks)

-Play any region discs*

-Store your favorite games (up to 24MEG) and for play anytime**

-Keep your cartridge firmware up to date for upcomming features

-Share files with your computer using the Megacart Adaptator***

Yeah, it is compatible with any version and region of the segacd hardware.

It can run with 32x attached and can run 32x binaries too.

Some peoples reported it was working on MegaLD system as well with Xeye (require a little trick for this one).

It comes in full packaging (cart case and box), and with an utility disc.

Also available with Megacart Adaptator and Cables included.

Megacart adaptator allow you to connect the Megacart to your computer using EPP printer mode and Printer AND Usb cable.

You can also burn discs full of data to flash them from your mega/segacd.

Well, I hope you will enjoy.

Don't hesitate to support us using this button. And don't hesitate to PM me.

I'll be happy to answer to all the questions :D Really DONT hesitate!

*: Some discs require a region/frequency mod.

**: Only available if you own the original games

***: Product sold separately

Thank you so much

That looks like a quite professional package. How did you guys pull it off without a huge production run? Are the cases/cart shells surplus or were they made for the Megacart?

Thx for the comments and thank you very much for the news poping :)

The shells were specialy done for megacart, it cost enormous price... and the run is ... well... absolutely insane compared to the selling potential.

This is why I would like to thank a lot (but a lot) Tototek for his mad and determined support over this product.

Btw : the first run used "surplus" cases but we ran out of stock.

-> It was a choice to not increase the product price :D Enjoy!

(attention, sortez vos mouchoirs LOL)

Wait wait wait....so I can store games onto the cart, and load them up? For this do you just send it through USB/flash it using a CD?

so I can store games onto the cart, and load them up?

Yeah, 24Mbit (3Mo) can be stored on the cart... can be any kind of data, including games...

For this do you just send it through USB/flash it using a CD?

You can send them with your EPP printerport (and megacart adaptater). Or you can burn a disc to flash them from your megacd.

Thx for your interest.
