Wow, why does Outrun generate so much hatred from the opinion police.

I completely understand Sega fans. I used to be a very devoted one myself. But OutRun 2 is simply too little, too late in the days of Burnout 3. Not that I think Burnout 3 is perfect, but it definetely raised the bar for arcade style racing on a console.

Comparing Burnout 3 and Outrun 2 is stupid.

Two games, at two opposite ends of the racing genre spectrum!

They compliment each other well. But Outrun 2 has the fun factor.

Burnout 3 is trying to hard to be eXtReMe and AlTeRnAtIvE!!1
