Saturn NTSC/PAL Question

Consider the following:

I have an EMS PAR 4-1, switched to European setting.

I play the European version of Virtua Cop 2 on an NTSC tv.

Is this possible without a 60hz/50hz switch? Can I just run it by switching the region?

50/60Hz is separate from region setting. I can flick between 50 and 60Hz while palying US titles. However there are PAL optimized titles that will have an issue at 60Hz - PAL Guardian Heroes comes to mind.

it's simple switch to add and there are many web pages showing you how to do it...
