Sega mentioned that they do not have current plans to develop sequels to NiGHTS and Crazy Taxi. However, Sega has confirmed that a new installment of Shining Force is currently under development.
It's great news to hear that a new shining force is underway. I haven't had much interest in getting a next-gen system up to now, but if one game could convince me, it'd be Shining Force (especially if it was playable online)
