Using MVS Tracker on a Genesis?

Would it be possible to use MVS Tracker (MVS Tracker) to create music for the Genesis?

Kaneda you have some experience with sound on the Genesis.

The source to the replay routine for the Neo Geo has been released.

It would seem that the YM2612 and YM2610 are from the same family (OPN) so I would imagine they would be pretty comparable featurewise. The MVS has fewer FM channels, but this program would certianly be a start.

I tested it some months ago...quickly

but, wait...it's a new one!!! with the source!!!!oooooooooh!!!!!!!!

Blastar is defintly a great guy!

I'm currently using Uchuusen MML/MMD engine...but no tracker :(

another thing to check....full new tracker or a converter MVS2MMD

RAAAAA!! why a day isn't 72hours!? ;)

....VC++...

I hate VC++ :(

oooooh....they use MAME sound driver for YM!!

so it's possible to mod it for Genny ;)

:cool:

VC++ is awesome... I couldn't survive without it....

I now have all my project setup to compile under VC++ 6.0.

This sounds like potentially good news. Can't wait to hear more.
