Mine is "Power Metal" with such bands as Blind Guardian, Nightwish, and Hammerfall.

What are yours?

Classic 80's Rock. Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Ozzy are the Kings of Rock. :) No one's better than Def Leppard :)

My faves are mainly dance music, harkening from the "good ol' days" (New Order, more synthpop i suppose) to the newer stuff (crystal method, underworld etc). Also diversify, occasionally listening to music like White Zombie, Massive Attack and Fun Lovin' Criminals. Not too keen on 'pop' and female solo vocalists :(

well, not really being into music that much I guess my favourite type of music is that in the porn music, the funk variety.

</bullshit>

Punk, Ska, Emo, Reggae, Death Metal (only the satanic stuff, it's funny to listen to songs like 'jesus christ feces star')

I love electronic music from house to techno and I'm very found of experimental stuff.

Artists and groups I listen to most are Aphex Twin, Two Lone Swordsmen, Plaid, Laurent Garnier, Black Dog Productions, Amon Tobin, Future Sound of London, Godspeed you Black Emperor.

I also like DJ's like Carl Cox and Commander Tom...

Some techno-electonica stuff, some rap, some rock (I'm really liking Fat Lip and Pleasure for Pain by Sum 41, and Smooth Crimal by Alien Ant Farm).

Jazz, fusion jazz, metal, anything featuring lots of guitars or an orchestral, heavily reverbed sound... drum n' bass, well, anything really, as long as it sounds cool and original. I just like music that I think is good, that's all I can really say. It's not good to limit yourself to just listening to one thing. As far as artists: Moby (of course), the old Metallica, Godsmack, Gorillaz (a recent favorite, you really should give the album a listen, all the other stuff is much better than "Clint Eastwood"), and changing pace... Preston Reed, George Winston, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, John Coltrane, and um... Deee-lite. :)

EDIT: Oops, I also like all sorts of video game music, and as far as I'm concerned, Yuzo Koshiro is god! (note: I can not guarantee that Yuzo Koshiro is in fact God)

Stabbing Westward, My Ruin, Tura Satana, Rammstein, Insane Clown Posse, anything written or produced by Jim Steinman (Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, Pandora's Box), Voltaire, Poe, Leftfield, Graeme Revell film scores (The Crow, The Craft), Offspring, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, White / Rob Zombie, new Vanilla Ice, KMFDM, Danzig, Green Day, The Cure, Fiona Apple, Eminem, Lords of Acid, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, lots of local punk and industrial bands, the list is endless...

Hi:

Alternative/Metal. Bands such as Disturbed, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool etc. I just saw all of them about a week and 1/2 ago :p

I like some soft music like the instrumental classics from Bach & friends, and groups like Blind Fucker, Gayphsody, Nightbitch :) ... and some old school ones like Sarcofago or Morbid Angel.

My favorite types of music go like this:

1)Euro-Dance/Euro-NRG

2)House

3)Techno

4)Old School Jams

5)Some Soul/R&B and hip hop (I hate rap with vulgar language, though)

6)Some Pop Music

7)Video Game music (primarily Sega Genesis music but also SNES, TG-16, PSX, etc.)

8)Some Ambient

9)Some Jazz

10)Some Trance

Punk, Psychobilly, Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Old School Gangsta Rap (NWA etc), some New Age, some Alt Rock, some Country (like Johnny Cash or Roger Miller - not "young" or "new" Country), some Metal, and basically anything that's kinda sorta dope/sick/cool and not Pop.

Man...If it's good, I can listen to anything. From Classical to Hip Hop.

Here's another question that might be interesting...What musical group can you listen to over and over again without EVER getting bored? For me it would be a tie between Earth, Wind, and Fire or Rush.
