Hmm, this is weird.
Normally you get a "remove cartridge" warning and the game enters the Multiplayer after a few seconds. With the standard boot code enabled, you get the Team Andromeda screen, then the warning. However the text is randomly corrupt and it hangs there, rather than returning to the BIOS.
The initial program in the boot sector is more or less identical to the PAL version. I think to that extent the boot code *does* work, but there are additional cartridge checks in the US version. For it to at least get to the Team Andromeda screen shows one of the first checks is successfully patched, but there are others that need to be as well.
