Instructions
------------
1. Place the disc image into the "redump_original" folder.

2. Run "apply_patch.bat"

3. Your patched game will be in the "patched" folder



There are 2 patches included in the zip file:


- One patch features the official English Arcade Translation.
This includes no changes to the obviously bad translation, bad grammar, lack of spaces, etc.
This is the authentic arcade translation.


- The other patch features DaVince21's "Proper" English Translation from 2015, available here:
Also, I changed "VIORATOR" to "VIOLATOR" on the notice screen in this version.



Now that that's out of the way, here's some other details about the patches:


- The only thing the Arcade and "Proper" Translations didn't cover was the Options menu and the Backup selection screen, so I used multiple references including guides/walkthroughs, and frontier intelligence for those.
I'm pretty sure it's fine, but I'll be happy to update it if I can ever get a legit translator to work with me.


- All Hidden Options unlocked.
(This also happens to add a ridiculous character drawing to the Options menu, which is actually the "Display attack area" toggle if you click LEFT/RIGHT with the cursor on it.)

- I also made it so that that the "SELECT= ON/OFF" setting will now save to backup, like the basic options do.
When enabled this setting gives players the ability to choose either character (which may be the same character for both players) with Up or Down before starting the game.


- Fixed the "vibrating" shadows/reflections.
Apparently, this was an issue on the original Arcade board (but not in MAME!), as well as in the original Saturn game.
I don't know if the effect was intentional for some reason, but it was awful and I don't think anyone will really miss it.
If someone really wants it with the "vibrating" shadows/reflections, I'll probably send you the patch upon request.


- Fixed black strips in the backup selection screen's blue background.


- Could be wrong but I think this is now the only English version of the game that doesn't censor out the "vagina door".
