@bbayles posts on Ejihon Detective Agency made me curious to peek at the game files for the Game-Ware Vol. 1-5, and I managed to make self-bootable versions of most of the included mini-games.
This is a patch for Game-Ware Vol. 1 that makes it boot straight into a weird minigame called Telecom Town. (Telecom Town II seems like a better game, but Pt.1 might get better if I knew what to do with the payphones.)
This patch simply replaces 0STARTUP.PRG with TELE.PRG
This allows you to skip past the Game-Ware ads and begin playing Telecom Town immediately.
Apply the patch with Sega Saturn Patcher:
