Instructions
------------
1. Place the disc image into the "redump_original" folder.

2. Run "apply_patch.bat"

3. Your patched game will be in the "patched" folder



Here's some details about the patch:



- English language assets from the CITY CONNECTION "Saturn Tribute" PC version, decrypted/extracted and hacked in to the original Sega Saturn game.
This uses the actual fonts/artwork from the PC version, with some fixes.



- Created a neat little trainer menu at the beginning of the game, right after the RAM selection screen.
If you want to play the game with it's original settings, just press start and skip it.
Any settings chosen here will be saved to backup and remembered on your next play.
Some of the cheats can't be switched on simultaneously, this isn't a bug. This is handled automatically, no need to think about it.
Also, "Mission select" depends on "Enable mech select from start" being enabled. so if you switch on "Mission select" then "Enable mech select from start" will also switch on automatically.
Again, not a bug. This is handled automatically, no need to think about it.

There are three different pages here which can be switched with L and R:

"Saturn Tribute Options":
These are the S.T. version's "Extra Options" settings recreated in the original game.

"Saturn Original Cheats":
These are cheats available normally by entering a button sequence or, in "Secret Challenger's" case, hidden content that normally unlocks only after completing the game.
Also, now you can use the "Unlock all mechs and equipment" cheat without activating the "Invincibility" cheat. You couldn't do that normally.

FYI: The "Secret Challenger" is actually pretty cool and appears to be sort of an ode to Marvel Comics.

"Action Replay Cheats":
Pretty self-explanatory, these are Action Replay derived cheats.

- In the "Saturn Tribute" version for some reason all the capital letters in the radio dialogue were a pixel too low, so I corrected that.
Also, the lower-case "t"s looked weird, with the left half of the crossbar missing. So those were redrawn.
There were multiple instances of clipped text that are now fixed.
In the tournament in level 3 there was a repeated line, which also happened to be clipped: “I am grateful for the challe…” “I am grateful for the challe…". I replaced the first line with the intended “That was an impressive showing.” line and corrected the clipped line to “I am grateful for the challenge.”
Also, there was a line where the word "we" was repeated so one instance was removed.



- The "Saturn Tribute"s opening timeline and mission briefings had some letters randomly higher than others, so the font was corrected to a shared baseline.



- The "Saturn Tribute"s pause menu and setup menu "help text" had inconsistent spacing and alignment issues, which have been improved.
"DASH HOLD= OFF" incorrectly displayed the help text for "SCREEN MODE: MOVE", so this was corrected.
Some wording was very slightly altered for clarification, or to be more natural sounding.
A couple of simple items in these menus weren't translated by the "Saturn Tribute", and were checked with ai and against context.
