Is this a nero image? and if so, how can I get it to let me burn a CD without paying damnit! I got it once and now when I go into it, they want me to pay 50 bucks, no way i'll ever use 50 bucks of this shitty proggy. So can anyone give me a keygen or anything if it is? would really apreciate it, thanks.

Nero is fully usable during its trial period. What the heck did you do, install it and not use it for months?

I do believe it has a 30-day trial thing. and yeah pretty much. I like how cdr-win is setup, u can only burn at 1x speed. I burn all my games at that speed anywayz, hehe. Think I am gunna do the cdmage thing, it's the easiest. and for all u retards out there, use .bin or .iso. They are the most common and can be burned easily by most proggys. but bin/cue is the best and should be done whenever possable. Thanks again guys.

I find BIN/CUE the absolute worst choice for Dreamcast images. They won't selfboot and are complicated to turn into selfbooting images with the audio tracks properly arranged. My coasters speak for themselves

BIN/CUEs are great for Saturn though, except they're often overkill. A well-ripped ISO/MP3 set is a beautiful thing.

BTW, was the spelling of Dickjuggler intentional?

Another option is to load the .cdi image with Daemon Tools and use any sufficiently froody burning software to do a disc copy.

hmm...

All signs point to yes.

certain people have been known to use discjuggler to rip saturn games

ive no idea why, since to me thats somewhat like using a toothpick to play a guitar (totally uncessary and a waste of everyones time, with very poor results)

discjuggler to me is the worst burning app ive ever had the misfortune to use, plus for saturn/mega cd you need to convert it to a proper format before you can patch it

i dont understand why it became the standard format for dreamcast either, when nero images work exactly the same but the program to read it is superior in most respects

The trial version doesn't expire.

I don't know what version you have downloaded, but the version available at Padus' homepage is "time-unlimited, fully-functional" with the exception that you can only burn to one drive at a time and you're limited to single-speed and max 700MB/disc.

proves why i shouldnt post at half midnight

i was thinking of fireburner, which definitely wins the title of useless trial edition (the newest one of that doesnt let you do more than test burns)

either way there are still many stupid faults with discjuggler (why doesn't double clicking a .cdi open the write cd from image dialogue? every other burning app ive seen can at least cope with that)

the only way to tell it to burn an image file appears to be either typing it into the box, or browsing useing the icon next to it (which doesnt look likes its clickable to me, i found that out by accident)
