internet virus?

has anyone else gotten IM's off people they know or dont know and you're just on their list that has a link in it and that link i'm assuming leads to a virus. i had my cousin's screen name IM me with links to a site on the internet that just lead to a file(didn't save it or anything like that just saw that it lead to a file) and some other girl that i didn't know same thing. all within a day of each other. anyone hear about this or no. it was through AIM

it's cause ppl download apps to give them cool smileys or sumthin, which is just nuffin but a bunch of spyware. and the links usually take you to a site which tries to install the software onto your machine. Dumb ppl....hehe.

Its been going around, tons of requests of kids here at the university with the "Aim Virus"

Anywho just search for AimFix on google. Its probably the first one to come up. A pretty nifty tool that gets rid of most aim hijacking stuff.
