Is the Dreamcast still alive in Japan ?

I don't know much about Dreamcast, I didn't buy one, but I know it died quickly. But it seems games in Japan are still beinf released. So will it go the same way as the Saturn ? I mean will we still see great games (especially RPGs) come out in Japan and never never never see them released in English ?

its pretty much dead. i guess its in the phase like the saturn where theres only digital comics and the occasional heintai game released for it. besides KoF of course
