I hate Gundam. Especially the poor dubs. oooh, I wonder if the Gundam will destroy all the non-Gundams. Oh, it did. Again.

Im with ya on that one Alexvrb... same with dragonballz, "are we gonna finally see these two maybe even PUNCH eachother this episode..." why is it they with stretch a battle across like 800 episodes... i literally watched an episode where some punk little kid sat oggling his dad or some shit while his dad would sweat and THINK about his next move to use on some purple shit head floating in the air. NO FIGHTING, just them floating around and the narrator saying shit like "will so and so use thisandthat on soandso"

What have you actually seen? Crappy ass Gundam Wing?

You even pay attention to the plots?

The plot is what makes Gundam so great.

Yeah yeah Cloud... Justify your dreams of one day flying around in some Gundam. I know so many guys who watch that crappy show, and I see a patern between them and their social life.

And what is that pattern?

Also, God Gundam can't fly, so I wouldn't be flying around in a Gundam.

What makes it so crappy in your opinion? Which series have you seen?

Ive seen a few across different series. I don't know a lot about the series. The fact is I won't waste my time to have to watch episode after episode for hours upon hours just to get a general idea of the story behind the series when the actual plot is not that inspiring. I mean theres only SO much you can do with it. yeah it may be good, but is it good enough to blow all my money on several DVD's or set a plan out to be home at a certain time to catch it on cartoonnetwork or whatever channel its on and stick to that plan so I don't miss a show. This is why I don't get into ANY anime series... its the male version of SOAP OPERAS, tacky bullshit story line to force feed down your throat just to get all your money.

I will turn to GOOD movies or novels for an actual inspiring piece of work.

As for the pattern I have found... I don't want to hurt your feelings anymore then I already have. But I know you can figure out the pattern on your own.

I'll admit that Gundam Wing was by far the worst thing I can recall watching, but I don't like Gundam in general. There was at least one older Gundam that was OK for a while, but they all eventually come down some of the same. I can't watch any of it dubbed, because the only dubs I've seen for it are bad. Although I prefer good subs anyway, because you retain the original meaning better, and even the best dubs can't always do that.

(I swear I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but he was quoting Gundam en masse AGAIN)

The story I keep hearing is that the anime guys would keep catching up to Toriyama's manga, and whenever that happened they'd have no new story to work with but still had to produce an episode...
